She was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Relda McCartney.
Faye spent her childhood in Northumberland and graduated from Northumberland High School as a Pineknotter, class of ‘49’.
She attended and graduated from beauty school in Harrisburg and worked as a beautician for more than 25 years at the Lewisburg United Methodist Home from where she retired.

Faye was a lovely and gracious lady who had many friends including classmates from Norry High and Abigail’s Attic. She always had a kind and encouraging word for others and was loved by all. She enjoyed spending her free time reading, watching HGTV and The Food Network. Her most enjoyable time came with spending it with family and friends.
