Northumberland - Susan L. Bell, 69, of North Avenue, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in her home.  

Susan was born November 26, 1954 in Sunbury, a daughter of the late David E. and Sylvia I. (Sears) Bucher.  She was married to Thomas B. Bell who preceded her in death in 2019.

She was a 1972 graduate of Shikellamy High School.  

Susan was a teacher for CSIU of Montandon for many years.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, ceramics and spending time with children.  

Susan is survived by her son Richard A. Bell, daughters Lisa Straub (Brian) and Jenna Parker, grandchildren Alexis, Nathan, Stella and Oliver, great granddaughter Emilia, brother John Bucher (Sherry),

and sister Cynthia Diogo (Maurice).

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Michelle Clemens.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 24, at 11:00am in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
