Nancy Irene "Pat" Burd, 86, of Overlook, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, of kidney failure.

She was born Feb. 2, 1938, the daughter of the late Albert Hoey and Helen (Snyder) Hoey.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Hoey and Warren Hoey.

Pat was married to the late Willard King "Bud" Burd III; stepson, the late Harold Lee Merlo.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Burd and Darlene Semerod; son-in-law, Jack Semerod Jr.; two grandsons, Jackie Semerod III and his wife Madison and Jesse Semerod.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, followed by the funeral at 11 at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
