William F Roshon, Jr

William F. Roshon, Jr., 86, of 910 Court St. Sunbury, PA passed away at ManorCare on January 19, 2017. He was born in Sunbury on July 13, 1930 the son the late of William F. and the Helen V. (Mahlon) Roshon, Sr .

William graduated from Sunbury High School. He married the late Martha E. Marks on September 6, 1952 who passed in 1998.

William served his country during the Korean War in the US Army. He was a general manager for over twenty years at the Forge Flo of Sunbury. He then owned and operated several service stations for many years. He loved his grandchildren and traveled with his family. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #22 F & AM Sunbury,Pa. He was a member of the Goodwill Hose Company. He loved hunting and collecting guns. In retirement he often worked in his meticulous garage keeping the family's cars in repair.

William is survived by his daughter Linda A. and husband Daniel A. Diehl of Danville, son William L. Roshon of Sunbury, four grandchildren: Jamie, Olivia, Danielle and Liza and four great grandchildren: Dakota, Peter, Kiara and Autumn.

William was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother Ronald Roshon.

Friends and family may visit on  Monday from 1 to 2 pm. at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm. with staff pastor Kurt P. Francis officiating. Condolences may be made at davidzweierfuneralhome.com.
