William Wesley Tomlinson, 91, of East Haas Manor Road, Sunbury, passed away on Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, at Milton Nursing & Rehab.
He was born Nov. 2, 1933, in Vernon, N.Y., a son of the late Leon L. and Jessie May (Gouchie) Tomlinson.
Following his High School graduation, William entered the Navy on Aug. 19, 1952, serving during the Korean War and was honorably discharge on Aug. 17, 1956.
His career was spent as an engineer for Pepperidge Farms until his retirement.
As an outdoorsman, Mr. Tomlinson enjoyed fishing.
William is survived by his long-time companion, Jacqueline Piermattei; his son, Scott Tomlinson and companion, Margaret French of Leola; three daughters and one son-in-law, Laura Arters and Gail Tomlinson both of Honey Brook, Patricia and Mark Harvey of Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Kevin Tomlinson and three siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
