Willam Paul Spishock, 59, of Sunbury PA, died in his home from metastatic cancer, on the early
morning of Saturday October 5th, 2024.
Billy was born in Sunbury PA, May 23rd 1965, to Jean Winifered Culp and George Michael
Spishock. He was raised in Sunbury and he attended Saint Michael Catholic School followed by
Shikellamy High School. William spent many years working at Shambach’s Carpet Cleaning
alongside his beloved friends who were also like family. William then came to work at his
cherished wife’s family’s business as a Grounds Superintendent at Northumberland Memorial
Park, where he worked until death. William helped many people and families in life and in death.
William was preceded in death by his parents Jean Winifred Culp and George Michael
Spishock, and many other beloved family members.
William is survived by his wife Jennifer Elaine Spishock, his daughters Stevie Reigh Spishock
and Samantha Keigh Klahre, his son-in-law Derek Klahre, his granddaughters Addison Mae
Long and Mila Ann Klahre, his sister Mary Ann Pepe and brother-in-law Joseph Pepe, his
brother John George Spishock, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and his beloved pets Lilly and Lucy.
Jennifer met the love of her life, Billy, at Sid’s Suds in Sunbury in 1989. Jennifer and William
married in 1995 and remained in Sunbury for 35 years.
Stevie spent many years of her youth working on the grounds of the cemetery with her father
and they shared a deep love of loud rock music.
Sammie spent her youth snuggled up with her father on Sunday mornings watching the
whimsical antics of Looney Tunes, a tradition she now carries on with Mila.
William enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Addison, cooking for her, attending her
dance recitals, playing outside and telling her to brush her teeth.
William spent time on holidays with Mila, and enjoyed seeing her when she was able to be
home with family.
William was loved by many friends from the area and each have always had warm stories to
share with his children when they would say who their dad was.
Everyone who knew Billy knew he enjoyed watching races and traveling with his family
throughout the years.
William is deeply loved and missed by his family.
His memorial Service will be led by Pastor Ron Murphy, held Monday October the 14th at
Elysburg Fire Department-Fahringer Hall (1 E Mill St, Elysburg PA) at 12:00PM, Funeral service
at grave-side to follow at Northumberland Memorial Park (2956 PA-61, Sunbury PA 17801).
