William H. Shambach Obituary

Northumberland - William H. "Bill" Shambach Sr., 81, of Orange Street, passed away Wednesday, December 6, in Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg.
Bill was born November 12, 1942, in Sunbury, a son of the late Howard I. and Gertrude (Bingaman) Shambach.
He was a United States Marine for ten years serving three tours of combat in Vietnam.
Bill was employed by Central Builders Supply as a maintenance / supervisor with them for approximately 35 years prior to retirement.
He was also a dedicated scout master for Boy Scouts of America.
Bill was an avid Steelers fan, he played the guitar, enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and anything outdoors. He was always willing to help and guide, If you were willing to learn he was always willing to teach.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael R. Shambach and William H. Shambach Jr. and wife Shannon, one daughter Tricia Shambach, three grandchildren Grace Elizabeth, Samson, and Alexander, one great grandson Daxton, one sister and brother-in-law Sandra Bowman and husband William and many nieces and nephews. 
Bill was preceded in death by three brothers Daniel, Charles and Gerald and one sister Nancy.
Friends and family may visit Tuesday, December 12 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00pm.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery,
