Wendy L. Filbert, 63, of John's Way, Northumberland, passed away in a house fire along with her stepson, Michael John Filbert on Monday, March 4, 2024.
Wendy was born on Dec. 26, 1960, in Sunbury, a daughter of Jean (Hill) Delsite of Northumberland and the late Richard Delsite.
She was married to Michael S. Erdman, Sr. who preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1995.  On June 8, 2002, she married Michael E. Filbert who survives.
Wendy was a 1978 graduate of Shikellamy where she participated in the band and choir. She later earned a degree from Empire Beauty School.
She served as a caregiver with Home Health Care and also worked for various local doctor's offices.
She was a member of Emmanuel Bible Fellowship church, Sunbury.
Mrs. Filbert was a dedicated member of the Point Township Fire Company where she tended bar for many years. In years prior, Wendy served as a member of the Point Township Fire Police.  
She was also a member of the American Legion Post #44, Northumberland. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid Phillies fan. Her greatest joy, were her children, who she was always proud of.
Wendy was a very well liked person who will be missed by all including her three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael S. and Kay S. Erdman of Northumberland, Kyle R. and Felicia N. Erdman of Selinsgrove, Brent E. and Megan L. Filbert of Northumberland; her brother, Richard A. Delsite of Northumberland and mother-in-law, Carol Erdman of Northumberland.
In addition to her son Michael John, she was preceded in death by father-in-law Scott Erdman and mother-in-law, Kathryn Filbert.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date and will officiated by Pastor Joshua Gibson.
Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
