Walter L. Erdman, 80, of Victor Road, Sunbury, passed away on December 7, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born on February 18, 1945, in Sunbury, a son of the late Walter L. and Geraldine P. (Kerstetter) Erdman. On April 26, 1969, he married Sandra M. Bostian, who survives.

Walter attended Selinsgrove Schools and proudly served in the United States Army from February 1967 to February 1969.

He was employed by Mohawk Flush Door Manufacturing, where he dedicated 38 years of service before retiring.

Walter enjoyed woodworking, camping, and four-wheeling, hobbies that brought him great joy throughout his life.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his son, Shawn Erdman; special sister-in-law, Sherry Rife; special nieces, Aubree and Abigail Mellor; and their mother, Jessica Kline.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury, where the memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
