Lewisburg - Tony L. Fox, 81, of Old Turnpike Road, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024.

 

Tony was born August 27, 1943, in Sunbury, a son of the late Alfred and Helen (Etzeweiler) Fox.  He was married to Patricia Esposito who preceded him in death.

 

He was a graduate of Sunbury High School and then proudly served in the United States Navy for 4 years.

 

Following his return, he worked for Paulsen Wire and Rope Corp. in Sunbury until they closed and then was a devoted caregiver for the Selinsgrove State School.

 

He was member of the Boy Scouts.

 

Tony enjoyed camping, he was an avid reader he enjoyed Westerns, Science Fiction as well as Fantasy.

 

He is survived by his son Christopher Fox and his sister Pam Shipe.

 

He was preceded in death by his brothers Ron and Barry and sisters Tonia and Dawn. 

 

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 12, in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington at 1:00pm with military honors.  

 

Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
