Northumberland - Terry R. Kauffman, 82 a resident of the Lewis Building passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Sunbury Skilled Nursing & Rehab.

Terry was born om September 12, 1942 a son of the late Ray and Emma (Fisher) Kauffman.  On April 7, 1961 he married the former Judith Ann Enders who preceded him in death on March 2, 2022.

He was a 1960 graduate of Northumberland High School. He was employed for Penn Central Railroad and retired as a welder for The New Columbia Joist Company.

Mr. Kauffman attended United Lutheran Church, Sunbury.

He served his community as a member and past president of the East End Hose Company, Sunbury.

Terry was an avid Penn State football fan, attending many games through the years and rooted for the Cleveland Browns.  His greatest joy came from the many family trips to Rehoboth and Ocean City, MD beaches.

He is survived by; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gregory A. Kauffman of Watsontown, Jeffrey T. and Teresa A. Kauffman of Sunbury, eight grandchildren, Tonya, Taylor, Tuesday, Tyler, Jeffrey, Joshua, Brandon and Brianne, ten great-grandchildren, Bianca, Bryce, Brianna, Melody, Aubrey, Logan, Ryan, Lanie, Maivery and Barrett and one sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Tom Burkett of AZ.

In addition to his parents and wife of 60 years, Terry was also preceded in death by his daughter, Heather L. Hetrick.

Terry's family will have a celebration of life to honor him at a later date in Ocean City, MD.
