It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stacey Marie Herrold (Frits), 38, of Sunbury. Stacey Passed away at her home on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
    Stacey was born on July 18, 1986 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania to Walter (Bubs) Frits and Dorothy Mull. She married her lifelong friend and companion Mark Scott Herrold on May 10, 2024.
    Stacey worked at the Mansion Nursing home in Sunbury. Stacey loved the summer months so she could spend time outdoors. She loved glamping, having the biggest chair by the fire, and tubing down the river with friends and family. Stacey was known for her loud laugh, fierce attitude, and most all her carefree way of living life and having fun.
      Stacey is survived by her Children Madisyn Rosa (Jeremy Vargas), Mickeal Rosa, Felicity & Abel Herrold, husband Mark Herrold; Sister Amanda Frits (Mike Krumbine); Brothers Jeremy Frits, Jason Frits (Sarah); nieces Hannah, Kyra, Peyton, and nephews Dyllan, Orion, Leo and more family and friends than the newspaper will let us print.
    She was preceded in death by her father Walter (Bubs) Frits Sr., brother Walter (Wally) Frits Jr., grandparents, Helen and Gene Mull Sr., Walter and Katherine Frits, and her beloved bulldog Harley.
    Stacey left us far too soon to really share what she wanted, but we know she'd want us all to share a laugh and raise a glass in celebration of her life.The family will be hosting a celebration of life for her at a later date.
