Shirley M. Marks Obituary

Danville - Shirley Marie Marks, 80, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Vintage Knolls, where she had been a resident.

Shirley was born July 8th, 1943 in Muncy, a daughter of the late Chester Harris and Ethol (Harmon) Narbor.  She was married to David Marks for 44 years prior to his passing in 2021.

She attended school in Muncy.

Shirley was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed making clothes and anything for the home.  She loved

to knit, crochet and to fish.  She enjoyed preparing her home and meals for the holidays for her children and grandchildren, who were her greatest joys.

She is survived by children Henry Heck, Jean Kline, Wayne Heck, Tammy Heck and Pam Metzger, her siblings Jim Harmon, Carl Narbor, Beverly Harmon, and Sharon Narbor.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by daughter Rae Ann Malucci and brothers Jesse Hurst and Richard Narbor.   

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 8, at 11:00am at the Senior Living Center on the corner of Queen and Water Street in Northumberland.

Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland.
