Shaylene J Shambach Obituary

Shaylene J. Shambach, 12, of 8th Street, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 13, at her home.
She was born Aug. 7, 2013, in Danville, a daughter of Chad L. Shambach and Felicia N. Arnold.
Shaylene was in 6th grade at Shikellamy Middle School.
She was truly one of a kind. She had a unique, sweet, stubborn, and loving personality and could light up any room she entered. Brave, honest, and wonderfully blunt, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Shaylene loved dancing, watching YouTube, drawing, singing, and gaming, and she embraced life with enthusiasm and authenticity. Shaylene proudly served as the first and youngest Mayor of Sunbury, a role that reflected her bold spirit and unforgettable presence.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by brothers, Gaven and Steven, and sisters, Briele and Aaliyah.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Higher Hope Ministries, 1000 Race St., Sunbury, where a memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Mark Gittens officiating.
Arrangements by Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
