Sharon A. Lenig Obituary
Sunbury - Sharon A. Lenig, 79, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Sharon was born August 23, 1945 in Montour County a daughter of the late Ralph and Rosie Leitzel.
She was married to Alvin Lenig Sr. who preceded her in death.
Sharon was a seamstress.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by sons Dave Burgess, James Burgess (Jennifer), John Burgess, Alvin Lenig Jr. and Jennifer, daughter Carol Cullen, grandchildren Nicole, Taylor, Dalton, Christopher, Addison, Brittany and Aleena, great grandchildren Kallie, Koledyn, Aleah, Andi and Kash, and brother Russell Ledden.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her son Douglas Burgess and grandson Coen.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 14, at 11:00am at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.
Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery, Sunbury.
