Northumberland - Ronald C. Ginck, 83 of Church Ave. passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at his home.
Ronald was born January 7, 1943 in Sunbury a son of the late Curtis and Ethel (Bingaman) Ginck. He was a graduate of Sunbury High School. He later entered the Army, was stationed in Korea and was honorably discharged on Sept. 14, 1966.
Mr. Ginck was employed as a shearman with Milton Manufacturing until their closing.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #201 and Good Will Hose Co. both of Sunbury.
As an outdoorsman, Ronald enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. Later in life he spent time watching football and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State. He also enjoyed relaxing on his porch watching the wildlife and drinking coffee with his friends at the Goodwill's.
Mr. Ginck is survived by; his son and daughter-in-law, Brian L. and Beth E. Ginck of Northumberland, daughter, Melinda R. Hough of Allentown, granddaughter, Kelsey Buckholtz and husband, Chris of Selinsgrove, great-granddaughter, Sophie Grace, great-grandson Beau and sister, Heather Graybill of Sunbury.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Mattern and two brothers-in-law, John Graybill and Bob Mattern.
A viewing will be held from 12:00 to 1:00pm on Wednesday Feb. 25th at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland followed by a graveside service with full military honors and officiated by Rev. Karla Leiby in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
