Ronald L. Bressler

April 10, 1951 ~ October 30, 2020 (age 69)


Northumberland - Ronald L. "Ron" Bressler, 69 of Duke Street passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.


Ron was born April 10, 1951 in Sunbury a son of the late John A. and Betty J. (Mensch) Bressler.  On March 14, 1970 he married the former Ramona "Moni" Keller who survives.


He attended Shikellamy High School.  Ron was a truck driver for Consolidated Freight, Lewistown and retired after 29 years of service.


Mr. Bressler was the owner of R&R Campground and enjoyed the company of his campground family.  He was an avid outdoorsman whose activities included; boating, riding his jet ski and hunting.  Ron enjoyed traveling to Missouri for his Whitetail Trophy Hunts.  He was a fan of the Penn State football and wrestling teams. One of his greatest joys were his grandchildren and attending their many sporting events.


In addition to his wife of 50 years, Ron is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Randy Paul of Northumberland, two grandchildren, Lyndsi Borisov and husband Slavik of Selinsgrove, Tristan Paul and fiancé Olivia Gittens of Northumberland.  Ron’s siblings include three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Judy and Ted Fetter, Betty "Liz" Long, Connie and Wayne "Lee" Latshaw, two brothers and one sister-in-law, Rickey "Pete" Bressler all of Northumberland, Roger "Nip" and Stacey Bressler of Selinsgrove. Two sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jody Kistner, Jami and Rick Swinehart all of Northumberland, his many nieces and nephews and his life-long friend, Steve Schrader of Northumberland.


He was preceded in death by, one brother, Richard Bressler, brother-in-law, William "Bill" Long and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene Keller and Barbara Keller.


Friends and family will be received from 9:00am to 11:00am Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at h2 Church at the Susquehanna Valley Mall (former JC Penny), Selinsgrove where funeral services will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Gittens officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.
