Roberta M. Mantz

Sunbury - Roberta M. Mantz, 77 of Upper Augusta Twp. passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at her home.
Roberta was born January 21, 1942 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Clyde and Gertrude (Oswald) Oyster. She was married to Carl E. Mantz who preceded her in death on March 5, 1990.
She attended Shikellamy Schools and worked as a nurses aide at the Selinsgrove Center.
Mrs. Mantz was of the Baptist faith.  She was a great lover of dogs and enjoyed cooking for her family.
She is survived by her two sons, Scott A. and Anthony J. Mantz, both of Sunbury, grandchildren, Joshua, Melissa, Nikki, Donnie and Antonio, several great-grandchildren and sister, Nora Oyster of Mount Pleasant Mills.
In addition to her husband and parents, Roberta was preceded in death by; two sons, Carl E. Mantz, Jr., Allen J. Mantz, daughter, Kathy M. Mantz, sisters, Babs, Gerty and Ethel, brother, Dan and her beloved Black Lab, King.
A private graveside service will be held in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington with Rev. Zachary Hopple officiating.
