Obituary

Robert S. “Bob” Sees, age 66, of Millville, passed away peacefully on April 11th, 2020, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Bob was born on December 23rd, 1953, raised in Northumberland, a son of the late Robert L. and Helen T. (Slodysko) Sees. He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria (Snyder), who he married on September 9th, 1972. He is also survived by his son Robert Sees, wife Jessica and their son Wyatt of Danville, and his daughter Jessica Watson, husband John and their three children Brennan, Brady, and Quinn of Bloomsburg. He is also survived by his sister Dolly Naginey and husband Robert, sister Dee Neidig and husband Scott, and brother Mark Sees and wife Crystal, all of Northumberland. He also has many beloved nieces and nephews.
Bob proudly served in First Calvary Division “First Team” in the U.S. Army. He then reenlisted in 1991 as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army Reserves for Operation Desert Storm and Grenada. Bob graduated from Shikellamy HS, received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University, and his graduate degree from Misericordia University in Organizational Leadership. Bob devoted his career to the Nuclear Power Industry, working 35 years with Logistic Services at PPL. After retiring in 2013, he contracted with V.C. Summer in South Carolina and then, most recently, worked for Entergy in Mississippi.
If you asked Bob what his greatest accomplishment in his life was, he would tell you his kids and grandkids. He was always standing in their corner, cheering them on. Whether that be at a sporting event or in the NICU. He was so proud to be their Pappy. Bob also loved hunting, a love that he shared with his son in law and two oldest grandsons. But if it was football season, you would find him and his son, Bobby, at the Penn State games. Bob and Vicki shared a love for horses and spent much of their free time with them. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Due to the current CDC guidelines, funeral services will be held privately for the family with graveside services only. We apologize for restricting family and friends from paying respects at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date for all to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Freedom Service Dogs of America at 7193 South Dillon Ct, Englewood, CO 80112 in Robert’s name.
