On Friday, June 13, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Robert was called home at the age of 63. He was born at Sunbury Community Hospital on March 14, 1962. The son of Roger L. Reader and the late Sandra E. (Wagner) Reader, who passed in 1997. 

 

Also proceeding Robert in death are both sets of grandparents, Earl and Ethel (Snyder) Reader, Elwood and Ethel (Felmey) Wagner. Also multiple Aunts, Uncles and cousins. 

 

Robert was A 1981 graduate of Shikellamy High School and SUN Area Vo-Tech. He joined the Navy in December of 1982 and served 6 years and 4 months for his country. He held numerous jobs over the years prior to becoming disabled.

 

Rob enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He looked forward to holidays with the Fourth of July as his favorite. He loved his fireworks. 

 

Robert left behind his girlfriend, Dodi Bingaman. His dad, Roger, sister and brother in-law, Leslie and Denny Herb. His niece, Brandy (Herb) and Benjamin Trego. His nephew, Tyler Herb. Great nephew Ryland Foust, step great nieces and nephews, Kylah, Ivan, Phoenix and Lainey Trego. 

 

A private service will be held at the  convenience of the family. 

 

Rob will be greatly missed by all.
