Mohnton - Rickey L. Keckler, 69, of Penn Sylvan Drive, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 after losing his battle with cancer.
Rickey was born November 4, 1954 in Waynesboro a son of the late John Keckler and the late Margaret Tomasulo. He married the love of his life, his wife and his best friend Leslie Annette (Fegley) Keckler who survives.
Rick loved adventure and never turned down a great time. Some of his favorite activities included skydiving, camping, and traveling. His family, friends, and animals were near and dear to his heart. Since retiring from the Boeing Company, he has made many memories with family and friends, some of which include driving cross country with his sister Cheri, spending time in Florida with family, going out west with his wife Leslie, and spending time with his children and grandchildren at his favorite, Knoebels Amusement Resort.
In addition to his wife he is survived by sons Eric, Sean (Lynn), and Cj, daughter Marcy (Dennis), granddaughters Alexa, Aubrey and Alyssa, sisters Cherri Noll and Debbie Shaffer (Donald) brother Michael (Stephanie) three nieces and one nephew and many great nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by brother Johnny Keckler, sisters Dorthy Bass and Kathy Snowberger (Bill).
Rick generously gifted his body to research through the Humanities Gift Registration.
There will be a memorial service for Rickey at 1:00 PM, June 22, 2024 at Saint Mark Lutheran Church, Elysburg Pennsylvania.
