Sunbury~ Richard Renn, 84, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
He was born in Kreamer on August 12,1939 the son of the late Forrest & Fern Renn. On June 18, 1958 he married Joyce Jean Gelnett.
He graduated from Mahanoy Joint High School.
Richard worked as a carpenter from 1958-1965. He worked at AMP Inc. from 1965-1998.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family very much.
He is survived by his three daughters Brenda Burns and her husband Rob of Stonington; Deborah Cross and her husband Elroy of South Dakota, Victoria Heintzelman and her husband Gregg of Selinsgrove: grandsons Michael Burns and his wife MJ of Wyoming, Ryan Burns and his wife Tinicia of Tennessee, Jason Teats and his Wife Aby of North Carolina, Timothy Cross and his wife Wendy of South Dakota , Jeremy Renn and his wife Shania of Danville and granddaughters Natasha Cross of Kansas, Keisha Cross and her significant other Victor Ramos of Kansas and Felicia Gregory and her husband Nick of Sunbury; He has 13 great grand-children, one brother William Renn and his wife Nancy of Sunbury and one nephew William Renn Jr. and his wife Monica
He was preceded in death by his son Rodney Renn.
A viewing will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Friday, July 26 at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00pm.
Burial will follow in the
Augusta Baptist Church cemetery, Sunbury.
