Richard L. Aikey Sr., 70 of Watsontown, known by many as Dick, went to rest when he died at home on Sunday morning October 12, 2025.
He was Born July 13,1955 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, Union County. He was the son of Nancy J. (Mitch) Aikey and the late Nevin D. Aikey Jr
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.
Richard was a beloved son, brother, uncle, dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend of so many. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading.
Survived by two sons, Dennis J. Aikey of Dallas and Richard L. Aikey, Jr. of Milton, and two daughters, Rebecca L. Aikey of Watsontown and Rachel L. Aikey-Tyson of Danville, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Alice Murray, Bonnie Williams and spouse, Nelson and one brother, Cliff Aikey all of Milton.
He was preceded in death by two ex-wives, Teresa M (Chappell) Blue and Patricia J. (VanKirk) Long and a granddaughter Patricia L. Aikey-Tyson.
Services will be held October 24, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Salvation Army, 30 Center Street, Milton with Lt. Evita Colon-Leach officiating.
Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.
