It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved aunt, sister and wife, Rachel P. Kunkle, on May 30, 2024. Rachel P. Kunkle was a cherished member of our family, a beacon of love and joy, and a truly remarkable woman who touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Born on Aug. 27, 1932, Rachel grew up with a passion for music that she carried with her throughout her life. Her love for playing the piano was a defining aspect of her character, and she spent countless hours bringing beautiful melodies to life. Her talent was a gift to all who had the pleasure of listening, and her music had a way of lifting spirits and bringing people together.  She was a vibrant member and pianist of the Augustaville Wesleyan Church in Paxinos.
Rachel was more than just a gifted musician; she was a loving sister, a doting aunt, and a loyal friend to her husband Keith. Her warm smile and generous spirit were evident in everything she did, from family gatherings where she played her favorite songs, to quiet moments where she shared her wisdom and kindness.
Her home was always filled with the sound of music, laughter, and love. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel special and loved, always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, or a heartfelt tune on her beloved piano. Her legacy is one of warmth, compassion, and an unending love for the arts. Her memory will live on in the songs she played, the lives she touched, and the hearts of all who loved her.
