Phyllis L. Lahr, a former resident of Northumberland, died on March 27, 2026 at her daughter's home in Crossville, TN. She was born September 14, 1931, in Northumberland, a daughter of the late George E. and Elizabeth Sulouff.
On January 1, 1950, she married Orval E. Lahr, who predeceased her. They were married 69 years.
Phyllis is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven A. and Connie J. Lahr, of Northumberland and Jeffrey and Susan M. Lahr, of Sunbury; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Trudy D. Baker of Milton, Barbara J. and Ray Tucker of Cookeville, TN and Lisa S. and David of Sparta, TN, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Russell D. Lahr, one brother, Carl Sulouff and one sister, Celesta Moxham.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 11:00am.
Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Epler, 210 King Street, Northumberland.
