Sunbury - Paula Jo Barnhart, 69 passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Nottingham Retirement Village.
> Paula was born April 5, 1955 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Luther W. and June M. (Wetzel) Betsker.  On November 26, 1977 she married Ron K. Barnhart who preceded her in death on September 15, 1998.
> She was a 1973 graduate of Shikellamy High School. Paula served as a waitress at Billman's Restuarant, later the Augusta House.  She retired as a secretary from the Shikellamy School District after many years of service.
> Mrs. Barnhart was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Sunbury.  She was a member of the Sunbury Chapter of the Order of The Eastern Star.
> She was a wonderful baker and an avid gardener. Paula hosted many memorable holiday events.  She loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.  
> She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew K. and Amanda H. Barnhart of Sunbury, two grandchildren, Brady and Mia, one sister and brother in-law Pamela and Gregory Wenrich of Sunbury, and one brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Cathy Betsker of Selinsgrove, and her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
> A viewing will be held from 10:00am to noon on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury where funeral services will begin at noon with Pastor Eric Light officiating.
> Burial will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
