Ned Hull Obituary

Northumberland - Ned C. Hull, 85 of Fifth Street, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Sunset Ridge Healthcare, Bloomsburg.
Ned was born October 21, 1935 in Sunbury a son of the late Foster A. and Anna (Curtis) Hull.  On July 14, 1957 he married the former Lois M. Cook who survives.
He was a 1953 graduate of Sunbury High School and later served in the Army.  Mr. Hull retired after nearly 40 years of service as a salesman for the ButterKrust Baking Co.
Ned was a member of the former Albright United Methodist Church and currently of the Faith United Methodist Church both of Sunbury.
He was a life member of the Northumberland Hook & Ladder Fire Co., a member of the Free & Accepted Masons Lodge #22, Sunbury.
As someone who enjoyed camping and boating, Ned was a member of the Farnsworth Camping Club and spending time at their cabin, particularly the summers, at Shady Nook Campground.  His most enjoyable times were spent with  family and attending his grandchildren's events and activities.
In addition to his wife of 63 he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Shaun L. and Karen L. Hull of Bloomsburg, N. Curtis and Brenda L. Hull of Northumberland, five granddaughters, Lindsey Scholl, Justine Brown and husband, Andrew, Sara, Ellen and Olivia Hull, great-grandchildren, Ruger and Piper Scholl.
He was preceded in death by one daughter in infancy, Linda.
Funeral services will be private with Rev. Ronald Troup officiating.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
