Nancy A. Mantz, 75, of Foye Road, Sunbury, passed away Wednesday, February 4, at her home.
Nancy was born February 25, 1950, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Henry and Naomi (Miller) Wolf.
She was a teacher for over forty years at Shikellamy, Selinsgrove, and Line Mountain. She also worked at H&R Block and Walmart, where she made many friends.
Nancy attended Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Lewisburg.
She cherished time spent with her grandchildren at family gatherings and was their biggest fan, joyfully cheering on their many accomplishments. She embraced life with curiosity, always eager to discover new foods, explore new places, and savor fresh experiences. In quieter moments, she loved getting lost in a good book, working on puzzles and games, and cuddling up with her beloved cats.
Nancy is survived by her three cats, Felix, Winchester, and Pumpkin; daughters Anna and Lydia (Perry); sons Gabriel and Daniel (Andrea); grandchildren Heidi, Caleb (Rachel), Haley, Andie (Billy), Mariana, Beata, Casey, and Carmela; great-grandson Will; brother Kirby Wolf (Elaine); and sister Carol Foura.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Joann Wolf, and Mark Mantz.
A viewing will be held Thursday, February 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
