Miles L. Benfer Obituary

Miles L. Benfer, 77, Overlook Drive, Sunbury, passed away October 8, 2024 at his home.

Miles was born September 16, 1947 in Beavertown a son of the late Henry A. Leda A. (Stehr) Benfer.  On April 20, 1968, he married Constance Cardell who survives.

He was a machinist and worked for Paulsen Wire and Rope Works, Inc until retirement.  

Miles enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Brian Benfer and his fiance' Katrina Freed and Steven Benfer and his wife Miki, his daughters Sherri and Stephen Scholl, Jennifer and Charles Fiedler, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one brother Dean Benfer, sisters Florence Walter, Diane Fisher, Effie Strawser, Helen Aucker and Gladie Gouty.

A viewing will be held Monday, October 14, from 10:00-11:00am at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00am.

Interment will be held in Klinesgrove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
