Michael A. Moyer passed away peacefully on March 28th in the home he built, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the son of the late Marlin E. and Lois Jane Moyer (Focht) born on February 20th, 1959.  He graduated from Shikellamy High School and SUN Tech in 1977.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam, whom he shared many fond memories with over the last 46 years. For over 40 of those years, they continued their business, Moyer’s Marine Sales, which was originally started by his late father.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Marlin and daughter-in-law Colleen Moyer and granddaughter Mary, daughter Mary Marshall and granddaughter Alexis, and his “chosen son” Jeremy and his wife Taylor Weir and their daughters.  When he was not working, he could be found spending time with his family and friends, enjoying music and laughter with his granddaughters, riding his Harley, flying his RC airplanes, and spending time on the river.

Family and friends can pay their respects to Mike on Wednesday April 2nd from 10:00 am to 10:50 am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to a charity of the donor’s choice.
