Melody Chubb Obituary

Melody S. Chubb, 61, of Vine St. Sunbury, PA passed away at her home on September 11, 2018.

Melody was born on July 10, 1957 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Charles and Isabell (Sarvis) Long.

She attended Shikellamy High School. She was a waitress most of her life in area restaurants. She was a very good pool player. She loved to play Bingo, crochet, and read.

Melody is survived by her children, Misty-Dawn and her husband Matt Spiker of Johnstown, Jamie Cousentino of Elysburg, James Cousentino, Jr. of Shamokin, grandchildren, Ari, Ciara, Maesy, Tyler, Michael, Ian, great granddaughter Lara, brother Charles Long of NY, niece Jenni and nephew Mathew of Shamokin. She was eternally grateful to Jacqueline Hornberger Cousentino of Elysburg for raising her two firstborn children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, David Wayne Chubb, Jr. and grandson, Jacob.

Private service at the convenience of the family.
