Sunbury - Maxine J. Bingaman, 95 passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at the Sunbury Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born August 15, 1928 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Theodore R., Sr. and Violet E. (Wirt) Conrad. On March 27, 1960 she married Lester C. Bingaman who preceded her in death on October 23, 2001.
Maxine attended Sunbury schools. She retired from Nottingham Village as a patient aid after many years of service.
Mrs. Bingaman was of the Baptist Faith.
She enjoyed crocheting, playing Bingo and watching game shows. Her greatest joy came from the love of her cats and dogs.
Maxine is survived by; son and daughter-in-law, Barry A. Yeager and wife, Lana Andrews of Watsontown, two daughters and sons-in-law, Darcy L. and Wayne E. Yeager and Leslea J. and Charles Miller all of Sunbury, grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" and Jennifer Yeager , Stacy and Joshua Lemonds, Lisa Sprenkel, Melissa Bennage, Jason "Jake" and Jennifer Bennage, her ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and sister, JoAnn D. Klinger of Sunbury.
She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel in 1958, brothers, Theodore R. "Teedy" Conrad, Jr. and Earl W. Conrad and sister, Arlene F. Carr.
A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury where funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Rev. David Dressler.
Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
