Mary Ann Brown Obituary

Mary Ann (Johns) Brown of Breezewood, PA passed away Saturday July 27, 2024, at the home of her niece and nephew, Lorri Ann and Bernie Kaminsky in Sunbury, PA.

She was born in Kingwood, West Virginia on August 6, 1946, to the late Everett and Mary (Glaze) Johns.

She was a 1964 graduate of German Township High School. Retired from System Connection in Maryland after 22 years.

Mary Ann is survived by six grandchildren, Katelynn Benton and her husband Andrew of PA, Christopher and Thomas Copeland of MD, Keith and Gregory Harrell of MD, Elle Brown of VA, and Jessica Brown of MD. Three Great-Grandchildren, Aubree and Blake Benton and Lilly Harrell.  Three sisters, Emma Diann Ferek and her husband Leonard of Brownsville PA, Sharon Lee Scott and her husband Larry of Norfolk VA, and Carrie Lynn Farris and her husband Leonard of Vanderbilt PA. One brother Everett Dale Johns, Jr of Hewitt, TX. One Son-in-law, Robert Copeland of MD. One Stepson Ronald Brown and his wife Angela of Catonsville MD, Two Stepdaughters Denise Cullen of Yucca, CA and Maria Schloer and her husband Steve of Ruskin, FL. Lifelong friend and sister Darlene Sarah Shea and her husband Patrick of Zephyrhills, FL.  Her good friend Penny Contrillo of Breezewood, PA. Many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, as well as her beloved dog Kayla (KK).

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Ronald Brown, daughters Tamara Lynn Copeland and Rustina Lee Nelson, sister Brenda Sue Rotruck and her first husband Russell Johnson.

As per Mary Ann’s request there will be no funeral or memorial services held.
