Martin L. Raker, 95, of Lewisburg, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, at Riverview Manor. Martin was born Feb. 13, 1931, a son of the late Lloyd and Flossie (Brosius) Raker. On Nov. 23, 1951, he married the former Mollie Rubendall, who survives.
He worked as an auto body mechanic for Chubby's Autobody for more than 40 years until his retirement.
Martin was a devoted member of St. Elias Church, where he was actively involved for many years. He enjoyed puzzles, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife of nearly 75 years, he is survived by five daughters, Linda Harris (Jerry), Gail Martz (Dale), Pam Latsha (Terry), Louisa Adams (Dave), and Tina Martz (Barry); one daughter-in-law, Kathy Raker; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Martin Raker Jr.; one grandson, Ryan Raker, and 12 brothers and sisters.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Elias Church, 2016 Church Road, Sunbury, where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with his pastor, Clair Shaffer, officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Elias Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Elais Church, Janette Drumm, 1303 Hallowing Run Road. Arrangements are under the care of Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
