Martha L. Miller, 85, of Chestnut Towers, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born on December 11, 1940 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Vivian (Klinger) Oringer. She was married to Howard C. Miller, Jr. who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Trudy A. McCommon and a grandson, Ricky J. McCommon.
A graduate of Central Dauphin High School, she was previously employed by The Radisson Hotel in addition to being a full-time homemaker.
Martha was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo, having coffee with her friends at the Towers, and listening to music by Reba McEntire and Elvis Presley.
Martha is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Anna M. and Brian Bennett from Thompsontown, two sons and one-daughter-in-law Jeffrey M. and Angela Miller from Sunbury and Howard C. Miller III, grandchildren Brandon, Ami, Jennifer, Melissa, Whitney, Kelsi-Quinn, Jordan, Ashley, Spencer, Trinity, and Anthony, great grandchildren Kylie, Breanna, Amiya, Ty, Tyce, Knox, Stellan, Amelia, Charlotte, Elijah, Sarah, Olivia, Zane, Hallie, Aleena, and Leland, one sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Mike Lynam from Wilmington, DE
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 14, at 11:00am at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
