Mark A. Hagy, 72, of Sunbury, passed away on June 9, 2026, at his residence. Mark was the beloved husband of Nancy (DeMoss) Hagy, sharing over 50 years of loving marriage. Born in Madison, N.J., on Oct. 6, 1953, he was a son of the late Arthur Hagy Jr. and Ann (Pierson) Hagy.
Mark faithfully served as a United Methodist minister for many years, leading several congregations throughout central Pennsylvania, including in Trinity United Methodist in Northumberland. Following his ministry, he worked as a car dealer for KIA. Mark had a passion for motorcycles and collecting model trains. He also enjoyed camping, canoeing, and spending time tinkering in his garage, where friends and neighbors often found him. Known for his warm personality, Mark loved sharing jokes and telling stories with those around him.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy; a son, Isaac Hagy; a daughter, Laura Hagy; two brothers, Paul Hagy and his wife Sheryll and Dr. Timothy Hagy and his wife JoAnn; and a sister, Sue Brooks and her husband Ken.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
