Sunbury- Marian E. Weikel, 90, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Marian was born June 25, 1933 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Graybill) Deivert. On October 14, 1950 she married Raymond Weikel who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Mountain Presbyterian Church.
Marian is survived by her daughter Judy (Dale) Lawrence, granddaughters Jessica (Chad) Leitzel, Bridget (Justin) Hunt, Breanne Court, great-granddaughter Lauren Leitzel, grandson Cory Lawrence (Jody Mace), Great Grandsons Jameson, Colton, Triston Hunt, extended family Esther (Tim) Fister, Andrew, Haily and Ashley Fister, sisters Betty Cressinger, Annabell Cooper, Lois Herb, sisters-in-law Lynn Deivert, Barb Weikel, Joyce Dell, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death two daughters Kathy Weikel, Darlene Court, three brothers Robert, Paul, and Ned, one sister Ruth Haupt.
Friends and family may visit Monday, February 5, 2024 from 10:00am-11:00am at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, where the funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Paul Beach officiating.
Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
