Northumberland - Margaret Allen Williams passed away peacefully at Nottingham Nursing Center in Northumberland, PA due to age related issues. Margaret was born in Memphis, TN on November 3. 1926 to Minnie Day and William Allen and passed away on January 17, 2026. She was married 60 years to James N. Williams who preceded her in death on May 25, 2011. Margaret is survived by her 4 children: Margaret Harvey (Allan), Allen Williams (Vickie), Mary Lynn Moore (Jay) and Martha Stevenson (Bruce) as well as her grandchildren: Noelle Miller (Mika), Lacey Cooke (Alex), Tyson Harvey (Ashton), Spencer Fowler (Jess), Stephanie Isidoro (Emilio), Nathan Moore, Chris Moore (Letty and 15 great-grandchildren.

Margaret graduated from Humes High School in Memphis and Lambuth College in Jackson, TN. She touched the lives of many children as a long-time kindergarten teacher in the Memphis City School district finishing her career at Sherwood Elementary. She was very active at St Lukes United Methodist Church in Memphis where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School as well as singing with the choir and playing bells. When she wasn't teaching Sunday School, she was an active member of her own Sunday School Class where she played piano. When she relocated to Northumberland, PA. after the passing of her husband she continued her involvement at Otterbein United Methodist Church by joining the choir and the bells ensemble.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Otterbein United Methodist Church 356 Vine Street, Sunbury followed by funeral services at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Memphis, TN.

In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 356 Vine St., Sunbury, PA 17801.
