Margaret Q. Shipman, 91, formerly of Blue Hill Drive, Selinsgrove, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at Nottingham Village.
Margaret was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Cherry Tree, Pa., a daughter of the late George and Francys (Stayer) Byers. On July 24, 1954, she married Gordan E. Shipman who preceded her in death on March 28, 2023.
She was the co-owner and office manager for Gordon E. Shipman DDS.
She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Sunbury where she served as an Elder and a Deacon.
Margaret had a love for cooking and baking. She was the most kind and caring person and will be remembered for always putting everyone else first.
Margaret is survived by her son, Russell A. Shipman, Sunbury; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty Byers of State College, and 20 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her six brothers and sisters, as well as four nieces and nephews.
At Margaret's request there will be no services.
Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, Northumberland.
