Loretta Conrad Obituary

Loretta C. Conrad, 86, formerly of Water Street, Northumberland, and most recently Emmanuel Home, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, surrounded by her family at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born Sept. 20, 1933, in Danville, a daughter of the late Elmer and Martha (Kratzer) Seidel.

Loretta was a 1952 graduate of Northumberland High School. Following graduation she was employed as an admininstrative secretary at the State Capital, and later helped her brother Jay at his restaurants in the kitchen.

She loved to spend time with her family and sharing experiences with her great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Conrad is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra A. and Samuel R. Zechman and son, Timothy A. Conrad and fiancé, Laurie Bartholomew, all of Northumberland; grandchildren, Michelle L. Good and husband Richard C. II of Northumberland, Nicole D. Boysel and husband Sean S.M. "Scott" of Sunbury, Stephanie L. Markley and husband Justin of Northumberland, and Timothy A. Conrad Jr. of McEwensville; great-grandchildren, Richard C. Good III, BreAnna R. Good, Mackenzie R. Good, Kyleigh M. Brittingham, Jalyn M. Markley, and Elliot J. Conrad; great-great-grandchildren, Avian and Richie; one brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Donna Seidel of Northumberland; and her special niece, Terri Seidel of Northumberland.

Loretta was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Cotner; and brother, Neil Seidel.

Friends and family may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m.

Contributions in Loretta's memory may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, Front and King streets, Northumberland.
