Linda Staloch Obituary

Northumberland – Linda L. Staloch, 75, of 13th Street, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.  
Linda was born May 11, 1944 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Marvin G. and Dorothy (Neidig) Miller. She was married to Glen R. Staloch who preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Sunbury High School and was employed by Furmans Cannery, and Creation Windows.
Linda attended Victory Baptist Church.
She enjoyed attending church suppers, carnivals and fairs, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and her dog Bandit.  She was well known for her baking and cooking at Christmas time and for buying Christmas gifts for the many neighborhood children.
Linda is survived by her two sons and one daughter-in-law Charles R. and Patricia J. Persing and George A. Persing Jr. all of Shamokin, her two daughters and sons-in-law Elisa A. Kauffman-Slack and Robert W. Slack of Gulf Breeze, FL, Tammy M. Thomas and Randy L. Thomas Sr. of Sunbury, 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, her companion Jim Snyder of Selinsgrove and her ex-husband Charles R. Harvey of Bloomsburg.
In addition to her husband Glen, Linda was preceded in death by a granddaughter Amanda and her ex-husband George A. Persing.
Friends and family may visit Thursday from 1:00-2:00pm at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland where the funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Darrin G. Hunt officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.
