Laurie Jean Markowski Gunsallus, 52, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on August 20, 1972, Laurie lived a life marked by deep love, fierce devotion, and a heart always ready to help others.

Laurie had a lifelong passion for music, a boundless love for animals, and cherished every moment spent with her family. She was a natural caregiver, always putting others before herself and offering a helping hand whenever it was needed.

She is survived by her loving mother, Phyllis Markowski; her sisters, Whitney and Kristen; her daughters, Kayla, Kendyl, and Karly; and her five beloved grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

Laurie is now reunited in eternal peace with her late husband, Richard Gunsallus, resting together in heaven.

Her spirit, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
