Northumberland - Kenneth L. Young, 78, of Duke Street passed away Wednesday, March 24th in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.  
Kenneth was born July 9, 1942 in Bellville, a son of the late Lester and Mildred (Heimbach) Young.  In May of 1972 he married Susan K. Miller who preceded him in death in March of 2018.
He attended Kishacoquillas Schools.
Kenneth worked for Marlette Coach Company in Lewistown prior to starting his own business Youngs Disposal and later Queen Street Video in Northumberland and then Youngs Sporting Goods in Northumberland.
He was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons.
Kenneth was an outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He also liked to refurnish furniture and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Kenneth S. and Nichole L. Young of Northumberland, his three daughters and sons-in-law Holly L. and Charles J. Shrader of Sunbury, Heidi L. and Chad E. Bilbay of Northumberland, Mildred K. and Adam K. Josephson of Phillipsburg, NJ  his grandchildren Tasha Marks, Lizabeth Sue and Caleb J. Conrad, McKenzie A. and Margret M. Bilbay, Shelby K. and Lily G. Young and Van Josephson and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Cassandra M. Conrad, two sisters and one brother.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 1:00pm in Riverview Cemetery, 7th and Orange Street, Northumberland.

Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland.
