Karen D. Booth, 76, of Northumberland, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by family.
Karen was born Sept. 6, 1947, in Danville a daughter of the late Leo and Elverna (Dietman) Dudeck. On June 23, 1970, she married Armond J. Booth Jr. who survives.
Karen was a 1965 graduate of Shamokin High School and a 1968 graduate of the Ashland School of Nursing.
Karen was a dedicated registered nurse working at the Mansion Nursing Home in Sunbury for 30 years.
She was a member of the Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church of Sunbury, where she taught Sunday School and attended the Ladies Bible Study.
Karen enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, needlework and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron and Jamie Booth, Steven and Katie Booth; two daughters and one son-in-law, Megan and Garrett Bloom, and Missy Booth; grandchildren, Logan, Brett, Christian, Gavin and Cameron; one brother and sister-in-law, Darrel and Maureen Dudeck; and one sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Jim Fogleman.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry, in infancy.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 4, at 10 a.m. at Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church, 967 Mile Hill Road, Sunbury, where the memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will be private in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
