Joyce E. Jones-Riggs, 74, of King Street, Northumberland, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Joyce was born March 5, 1950, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Albert L. and Audrey F. (Rider) Minnick. On Oct. 13, 1967, she married Rod Jones, who preceded her in death in 1992. On June 17, 1995, she married Larry J. Riggs, who survives.

She attended Selinsgrove schools.

Joyce was a lifetime member of the Sunbury Bible Church, Sunbury.

She enjoyed crafting and traveling.

Joyce is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Mary Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Bert Harry; grandchildren, Dylan, Alexis, Jerome and Roni; five stepchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Jeanne Minnick, and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, at Sunbury Bible Church, 135 Spruce Hollow Road, Northumberland, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
