Jon Heintzelman Obituary

Northumberland – Jon R. Heintzelman, 39, of Elliott Drive, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 as a result of an auto accident in Port Trevorton, Snyder County.
Jon was born September 10, 1980 in Sunbury, a son of John J. and Robin L. (Blaisdell) Heintzelman of Northumberland.  On May 23, 2009 he married Brandi Jo Raker.
He was a 1999 graduate of Shikellamy High Shool where he excelled in wrestling.  Following high School he completed the Bighorn Outfitters School in Carmen, ID where he then guided hunts.
Jon was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Northumberland where he was baptized.  
He was an independent distributor for Pepperidge Farm since 2009.
As an avid outdoorsman Jon enjoyed hunting. Earlier in his life he enjoyed playing baseball for the Northumberland Acorn Little League.
Jon was a loved husband, father, son, brother and friend and in addition to his parents and wife of ten years is survived by his children Colt W. and Nora J. Heintzelman, his sister and brother-in-law Heather and Chad Stover of Shamokin, his paternal grandmother Catherine Krankoskie and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather John J. Heintzelman and maternal grandparents Robert and Margaret Blaisdell.
Friends and family may visit Wednesday, December 18 from 10am-12pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Northumberland where the funeral service will follow at noon with Vicar Karla Leiby and Chaplain Bob Barner officiating.
Donations in Jon’s memory may be made to the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland to help defray funeral expenses.
