Jesse O Waltz

Jesse O. Waltz, 82, of Sunbury, passed away on Wednesday, August, 8, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.

Jesse was born in Danville on June 25, 1936 the son of the late Charles and Wilhelmina (Shultz) Waltz.

He married the late Helen G. Oberdorf  July 30, 1952, she passed May 20, 2016 after sixty four years of marriage.

Jesse was self employed all his life. He was an expert with antiques. He served his country as a US Marine and was a Korean War veteran, and was a member of the Kulpmont VFW. He enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his children: Cindy and Russell Bohner of Danville, Michael Waltz of OH, Wanda Campbell of VA, Wendy and Rick Justice of VA, Judy and Ted Campbell of Coal Township, Bonnie and Dave Feaster of Sunbury, Jesse and Stella Waltz of VA, Tony Waltz of Sunbury, Tracy and Stephen Carr of Sunbury; siblings: Kenneth Fausnaught of Northumberland, Emma Jean Osman of Shamokin Dam and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, siblings Rose Wemple, Charleen Shemory, and Charles Hass.

Friends and family may visit the St. Monica Church, 109 Market St. Sunbury, on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 10 am until an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Bernard Woniala, AJ officiating. Interment will follow at Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, PA.
