Jeffrey Earl Mohn, 65, of Sunbury, passed away on June 4, 2026, at his
residence, surrounded by loved ones. Jeff was the beloved husband of
Nyla (McQuillan) Mohn, sharing over 11 years of loving marriage. Born
on February 13, 1961, in Easton, he was a son of Brenda Canniff and
the late John S. Mohn.
Jeffrey was a 1979 graduate of Stroudsburg High School and worked
35-plus years for Weis Markets, primarily as a construction supervisor
and project manager. He loved fishing the Salmon River in upstate New
York and hunting in Cherry Valley, PA. Jeff was an avid fan of the
Green Bay Packers. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his
family, who meant the world to him.
Jeffrey will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nyla; children,
Joshua Mohn, Ashley Dodd and her husband Dan, and Garrett Buyan;
grandchildren, Jeremy Mohn, and Brody and Shelby Dodd; sisters, Lynn
Parsons, Marla Seip, and Lesa Ross. Jeff was predeceased by his third
wife, Lynn Ann Mohn.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 2:00 PM to
4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blank Funeral Home, 395 State
Street, Sunbury. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12,
2026, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at
Northumberland Memorial Park. A celebration of life will follow at
3:00 PM at VFW Post 1532, 141 Shikellamy Avenue, Sunbury, PA. Guests
are welcome to dress casually, including wearing sports jerseys, for
the funeral on Friday and the celebration of life, as we celebrate
Jeff’s life in a way he would have enjoyed.
