Jason R Schaeffer Jr. Obituary
Jason R. Schaeffer, 31, of Sunbury, passed away unexpectedly, July 30 following a motorcycle accident.
There are no words that can truly capture the life of Jason Schaeffer Jr. He lived with a
generous heart, a contagious laugh, and a personality that could brighten any room. He
was truly the “life of the party” kind of guy. Whether he was spending time with family,
helping a friend, or simply making people smile, Jason left an impression that will never be
forgotten.
Jason’s greatest gift was the love he shared with everyone around him. He loved camping,
cookouts, family gatherings, fishing, and riding his beloved motorcycle wherever the road
would take him. He enjoyed a good laugh and was always looking for the next adventure or
a reason to bring people together and have a good time.
Our hearts are broken by this unimaginable loss. Jason was deeply loved and will be forever
missed, forever remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jason is survived by his beloved daughter, Alycia, whom he loved more than anything; his
parents, Jason Schaeffer Sr. and April Singletary; his sisters, Jolenda, Jenna, Jayda, and Tat;
his brother-in-law, Corey; his uncles, JR, Sean, Nate, and Brad; his aunts, Jess, Holly, and
Nicole; his grandparents, Glenda and Russ; his nieces and nephews, Alivia, Kam, Emme,
Osiris, Grayson, and Landon, who loved their Uncle Jay fiercely; his cousins, Cole, Kyle,
Brianna, Peyton, Alex, Kiera, and many other cousins; as well as countless friends whose
lives were made brighter by knowing him.
Jason is proceeded in death by his Pap (Donald), Nanny (Sue), Pap Pap (John), & his very
beloved Aunt Salina.
Although Jason’s time with us was far too short, the memories he created, the laughter he
shared, and the love he gave so freely will live on in all of us. His spirit will never be forgotten.
31 years just wasn't enough....Ride free, Jason.
