Janet L. Fetterman, 71, of Pine Street, Sunbury, passed away Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born July 30, 1952, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Raymond and Geraldine (Engle) Benfer.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kratzerville.

Janet worked for ConAgra for many years and then worked as a direct support, caregiver for various home health care agencies.

She enjoyed bowling, fishing with her grandkids, traveling, planting flowers, gardening and loved animals, especially her fur babies.

Janet is survived by her sons, Butch and wife Debbie Fetterman, and Jeff Fetterman and fiance' Deanna; grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Tony, Chelsea, Jeffrey, Carter, Landon and Hayden; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Sophia, Bailen and Kyler; brothers, Ed and Ray Benfer; sister, Janice Martin, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
